On the End of the Shinobi System

I've been pondering about it for a while: Madara or Tobi being right about the non-existence of perpetual peace. If the whole shinobi system finishes, nobody would train to become a ninja. If there are no hostilities and seek for power, why would anyone bother becoming strong? What's the use of Naruto becoming a Hokage?

So seen from this angle the end of the series is kind of self-evident.

i was wondering something similar
in the end there is no forever lasting peace, and no matter how much we work towards it there are people that would want things differentially and conflict will be born from there

if the shinobi sistem were to fall, ill be only if after tabi or madara summons the gedo mazo and seal the powers, chakras that make a shinobi, since the Fisrt Sage was the one that make this possible, so i would assume only a new Sage can undo it, madara said something about himself being a sage, and we know naruto is also following the sage's steps

What's the use of Naruto becoming a Hokage?

Naruto is Jinchuriki which is code for a war machine to the hidden leaf. So if he can one day become hokage it'll be a great message. He was a lost hope from the beginning and for Naruto it's to overcome all the odds.
If Tobi was right then the above would be completely meaningless. He might be right about the peace however.....

@Dei the issue at hand is not why naruto is to become hokakage and if that is important or not, as the things are now, naruto becoming hokage is like his dream coming true, the people will have no choice but to accept him

Yup, that was my point. Gunsts got it. I mean, all the stuff we have seen so far about being a kage and all -- kages are not trying to bring peace at all. They are merely interested in protecting their respective villages from the enemy while preparing soldiers for all out world wars. The economic wars between 5 countries clearly is part of the foundational problem. Who established the shinobi system anyway? Clan? Family?... Note that Sasuke is asking the similar questions nowadays...(that's why I'm happy to see Orochimaru again. He always sought for the true meaning of the world. Therefore he still has a big role to play..)

As far as we know, it was the Senju clan established the ninja system, and indirectly, the cycle of hatred Nagato and Jiraiya talked about. I think Senjus' may not be as noble as most may think. Perhaps, this is the irony: in bringing peace, you end up destroying other things. Konoha's peace meant the doom of other villages. Sound familiar? -- Nagato's own words.

So yes, Naruto needs to surpass all Hokages and establish a new system where no kage or ninja is needed if he wants to bring that perpetual peace. That's impossible of course. People will continue training to become ninjas and that will lead to power trips. We recently saw Uchiha Madara, and witnessed how he simply gets high with battling with strong opponents. He's not a peaceful settler; he's a warrior. The truth of the world, as it appears, is that there's chaos and the ninja system is a temporary solution.

If Kishi answers some of these important questions through his manga, he might as well solve the problems of our rotting real world. After all, fictional reality always run parallel to the real world at the fundamental level.
