my torrent problem

Hello every one....i am from Pakistan i am having a problem in my bit torrent.... it is not downloading any thing and says that no incoming connections since one month...i also changed my port and even deleted it from my fire wall and then replaced but nothing is happening..plz help me

well, first of all not sure about the policy here on animea but torrents are illegal. First thing you must know is not to mess with ports if you're not experienced enough, but i see you managed to open advanced firewall properties and deleted/changed something in inbound and outbound rules. Do yourself a favour and remove your bit torrent client and set your inbound/outbound rules to default. Try re-install if you must or find different program. Not to offend anyone on this site but 9/10 people who and if will help you probably used "google" to find the solution and i suggest you to do the same.

Firstly, give some more info, tracker, type of site, content that you download, etc.
- This is rather important, for example if you use µtorrent on the ba***t torrent tracker, then your torrentclient gets kicked because the latest version of version of µtorrent is not on the white list (allowed) torrent clients of that site, so all the stuff gets blocked.
- Another problem might be a low seed rate, this can also result in a ban/block
- It's possible that you your provider doesn't like torrents and blocks it's protocol.
- Your country doesn't allow torrents anymore, or the tracker/site is blocked because of distributing illegal content (not the license intrusion kind, but the human-safety and forbidden-content kind; if I'm not wrong Pakistan has a strict Islamic policy.)
- It's best to check your torrent client, select file, check tab with tracker, their behind the tracker-site-adress is probably the reason written.
-Also if you can't seed then use direct downloads or Irc.

You need make sure the ports you are using are opened. If they aren't which they should automatically be, you would need to portforward, which can be done by going to your router/modem IP.

You have not given information about the website from which you downloaded torrent. Torrents are no longer legal though. There could be the problems in seeds and leeches of the torrent.
