Dreams and nightmares

Hello there,
let`s all look into our souls mist intimate secrets, your deepest desires, your utmost fears... or just screw the creepy talk and begin^^
I thought it may be interesting to write about funny, weird or even scary dreams you actually remember here.
I´ll just start:
One incredibly weird dream I had happened a few weeks ago.
I was taking a nap and sometimes I do so while listening to music on my MP3 player...before long I kind of woke up, but not the waking up, where you are actually awake but the kind of waking up where you are just half conscious of your surroundings, but I noticed the song I was listening to and even recognized it (it was Melodies of Life from FF IX, just as a proof) I was able to follow the melody, which I heard rather clear, but I stil thought it sounded strange, somehow filthy, not good. I thought, that maybe my ear plugs weren`t plugged in correctly and soon the next song played, although Melodies of life wasn`t finished... I wondered and in this instant I woke up... I wasn`t even listening to music the whole time and didn`t have my MP3 player either... I had just dreamed that I was taking and waking up from a nap while listening to music, while taking a nap without listening to music... but I was impressed how good the music I heard in my dreams must have been saved up in my brain to hear it in such clarity...

ayy Stilzkin, I had such a dreams too like you, and truly songs I've listened in my dreams were more clear and vivid to me than in reality, same it happens with faces of other people, I always see it clearly. (though when I have nightmares I regret it)

yesterday I had a dream about my math elementary teacher who said that she will take us to germany, and after all that years she still remembered my name 0.0.

I saw her couple weeks ago near a shop and she did not recognized me.
though this dream made me to want to go to Germany >.<

Lol this is an interesting thread. Stilzkin, I think remembering things whilst dreaming is normal, but this just proves the human mind is an amazing thing! Funny though, I would have been confused and would wake up wondering whether I was actually awake >.>

I generally have strange dreams that I consider to be somewhat imaginative xD When I was little, I always had this dream about a Giant Ant Army and humans living together. I think it's because I used to watch "Bug's Life" all the time. Basically, I'd create an entire world which was ruled by a Queen Ant, who had an Ant Army. Funnily enough, all the humans were okay with it, and we all lived happily together. It may sound like a nightmare to some, but it was actually not bad at all >.< I think I had just been influenced by too much Disney and had just learned about racial discrimination back home in South Africa, so I think I wanted to create a world where everyone lived together happily.

Lately I often have dreams, in which I dream, that I dream... A dream within a dream... INCEPTION!

I dunno why but i had a same dream again and again almost 3 times but not in a row but after having various other dreams. And always the same thing happens i dreamt about it when i was in middle school(approximately my age was 13 to 15 years). I dont remember how it started it always began in some office room or big room with biscuit coloured tiles all over the ground and the supporting pillars at various points and that room had a see through glass walls on two adjacent sides through which we can see the roads like in between a city. And the room had many tables and people working around. Then a giant gorilla(almost exact to king kong) whose face is of the size of the wall would come up by climbing the building giving quakes to the room and the creature shakes the building in such a way that the building shakes and sends the tables and all through the other adjacent glass wall other than the one through which the creature is seen and when i am about to get out of the building *poof* the dream ends. The most weird thing is i have never watched the king kong film in my life even now. i dont know what i am in that dream am i a superhero of because (Because i used to get those dreams in that age) or am i a victim.

I have the same dream over and over again too. It basically consists of me and my family driving a long way into a forest because there seems to be some famous ice-cream shop or so. When we get there, there is a HUGE crowd waiting to be served and I realize that they are all people I know. Somehow I manage to get past them, without them complaining get to the cashier and order pancakes instead of ice cream... and the next thing I know i`m forcefully put in a train by uniformed guys and wihtout knowing where the train is headed I wake up... pretty strange, I admit...

I had a dream too that was repeating always. When I was 5 , every night I would dream gypsy people running after me,trying to steal me. In my dreams I would be first hiding from them while they would be searching for me, and then when they spot me, they would chase me. when they were supposed to catch me, I would wake up.

For this dream I can blame only my mum since she was telling me not to go out because of gypsies and that they may steal me and do me a lot of things ._. , thank you mum

When I was younger and my little brother was born, I grew very protective over him but I had this weird dream where we went to this really old factory building but some of the machinery still worked and he managed to get stuck in one and was compressed inside a Russian Doll which I could not open. Then suddenly everyone I knew at that time sat around staring at me and some were crying o.O it was very weird and disturbing.

that sounds downright creepy...
every time I have a nightmare, I wouldn`t be able to say what was the creepy thing in the dream... somehow they are kind of normal but in the dream I am scared anyway, without knowing why...

Thats cool to know. I've found it weird that I never have that dream were you fall off a cliff or building or something and wake up before you hit the ground. No instead I get chased by people, creatures, cars, and tons of other things. It really freaks me out sometimes I think I'd rather fall off a building then get chased around in my dreams.
One I really remember is when I was like 9. I dreamed that I was being chased by that guy with the claw hands and scared up face. I think his names Freddy Cougar but I'm not sure I've never seen the movi but anyway he was chasing me around this neighbor hood trying to catch me. Then I run through the woods and find my house. I run inside and go into my room and go to shut the door but there is none. So I turn and climb on top of a bunk bed and then he climbs up to. Across the room is another bunk bed and my dads on it dressed like a ballerina! How messed up is that but anyway. I'm calling to him asking for him to take my hand and pull me over he does but while he pulls me over Freddy takes one of his blades and cuts me from the knee down. I scream and am crying in my dream and then I woke up. I was so freaked out I grabbed my leg to see if it was actually cut it wasn't but the place where it would of been tingled all up and down. I don't know why I remember that dream from so long ago but it was a really creepy one.
