Kubo yet again up to his slow paced, panel wasting chapters.
Regarding the end - it's a long distance attack that split that Quincy up.
Who's zanpaktou can do that?
I look at the split and think of Isshin as it could be a similar attack to that of Zangetsu, re: Isshin's Engetsu being similar.

Other than that, I think of Gin - but he's toast too.

Why was Kisuke so suprised though?
Is is a revival? Is it Gin who found he's way to Hueco Muendo?
Is it Aizen that broke free of his seal :p

As for Espada, The Quincy have captured the Halibel - perhaps Grimmjow is running around out there.
But if Kisuke is getting his pants wet for Grimmjow - then I'm stoned!

And why should the killer have waited?

kubo might bring back ulquiorra before grimmjow since grimmy is not nearly as popular. Yes im aware that ulquiorra turned to ash but hey people only die in bleach when they are needed to and they can just as easily be revived if they are needed to come back. I'm lookin at you JB.

The only way it could be Ulquiorra,is if the Soul king order the Hell Guardian to release souls to fill the void of Hueco Mundo and Soul Society. But kubo may never go that far. And remember that sword is straight just like Urahara release and unrelease soul cutter. Do you all know anyone with a straight soul cutter.? One guess would be Yoruichi.

I would love for the Zanpakuto to be Gins... That would be cool... and face it... We thought Harribel was a goner until we saw her chained up in the Vandenreich dungeon... Why not comeback for Gin?

Don't see how it could be hIchigo's Zanpakuto... So far the only time Ichigo and hIchigo have been separated was insde Ichigo's inner world... However... Stuff changes all the time... I just wouldn't expect Kubo to split up Ichigo and hIchigo... Seems like it would lessen Ichigo's power and coolness... especially with this being the final arc of Bleach...

Gin is a very good answer and would give kisuke a little more cause for alarm than grimmjow would. It wouldnt be Aizen because he is too flashy for that kill. he would've stopped and gloated for a few minutes then proceeded to kill everyone.

Kubo likes to over dramatize his characters sometime so its likely Gin or Grimm. It would be interesting howerever to see kubo introduce the royal guard at this point. That would not only be an overwhelming power but it would also give urahara cause for alarm because that means the situation is so bad the royal guard is now involved.
