@JB-what chapter does renji say he has a new bankai?

Was not in an actual chapter, but...

It was from a Kubo interview earlier in the year before the final arc started...

Q: Has Renji trained hard to become stronger?
Kubo: Yes.

Q: Have Other people trained as well?
Kubo: Yes.

Q: So they wouldn’t be troubled by even Aizen-level opponents?
Kubo: They’re not quite at that level (laughs). What can I say, they’ve become stronger. But even so, they haven’t gotten to the point where they’re not worried about Aizen-level opponents (laughs).

Q: Will they display new abilities or techniques in the new arc?
Kubo: That will be revealed. Renji’s bankai has already changed.

There's 79% chance it's From snake to dragon. (Kinda like kabuto snake form to dragon in naruto ). A bankai that allows renji to fly.

They pretty much fly anyway. Renji's bankai has always been the stupidest anyway. except for doggies which his makes no sense.

Yes I remember in the movie Fade to black his bankai flies. But don't remember seeing it canon however.? So if anyone knows if it fly in manga. let me know :)

i said, it will gain some skins so wont be bones only
u said, it will transform into dragon

so expect a bony snaked with some skin that looks like a dragon that flies ......
