Trigun Review

Vash the Stampede is a legendary gun user who is famous for destroying the city of July. He has 60,000,000,000 $$ on his head and is hunted down by bounty hunters. In reality, Vash is a nice guy who loves donuts, an amnesiac, a promoter of love and peace and is known for walking into a hostage crisis while swinging his hips and snapping fingers to some danceable tune only he hears of! But the problem is, wherever he goes, destruction follows him because of the bounty hunters that hunt him down. In an effort to minimize loses due to the destruction, the Bernardelli Insurance Company sent 2 of its employees to follow Vash around and prevent him from destroying another city. But Vash isn’t the one doing the destruction though…

I really liked Trigun. Simply because the main character is such an enigma, not to mention that the gun busting and hip swinging Space Western Theme was one of the best during this anime’s heyday…. I sure wish that there would be a second season… Art is very nice, Music was good, Character development and story acceleration get a 2 thumbs up!! Oh… Vash is also one of the most cosplayed characters ever!
It was funny and had some good moments too… and several sightings of a black kitten during the series as well… If you love action, comedy, Western Themes, insurance ladies, donuts, and cats… this anime is for you!!
