Yu Yu Hakusho Review

Yu yu hakusho is the quintessitial fighting anime in the pre 21 century. Yu Yu jhakusho follows the life of a troubled kid yusuke uremeshi. His life ends and with the assistance of koenma a virtual god in training he gains his life back on the condition of becoming a spirit detective. The story follows the growth of him as well as an array of very interesting characters. Kuwabara is yusukes best friend, hiei a very good bad guy who begins as the story as a bad guy and eventually becomes a bad guy whose very likable, Kurama is a very intelligent character who has a ver interesting character. This anime has a huge cast of characters who are all very interesting. This anime was made in the pre-filler episode so pacing of this anime is at the top of the class there were small if any filler episodes. The animation isnt the best due to its age but it picks up the slack in the fighting which is incredible the growth of the characters are amazing, the characters dont get powers but gain strenght. The opening and ending themes are very addictive i to this day have music from this series in my mp3. This anime style of the underdog achieving the unbelieveable would be the predeccessor to animes like naruto, one piece, and a huge number of other animes. This anime was the onjly anime that could challenge the monster that was DBZ, in terms of ratings DBZ was unchallengeable until this anime. The only true faults to this anime would be that it was created in the 90s due to that theanimation was not up to par. The author Yoshihiro Togashi also wrote Hunter X Hunter an anime that is very underestimated.
