Zatch Bell Review

Zatch Bell is a good anime if you like fighting. I think the character developement in Kyo is okay, could be better, I mean, he did become a bit kinder to Zatch after awhile, but... Anyways, the characters have great personalities, including Tea. I think her sometimes kind sometimes mean personality makes everything great. The animation is just wonderful, compared to some other shows I watched, and I love how they still use the japanese names instead of changing them to lame english names. But I think that they could let the battles go a little longer, it just bugs me that they're so short, but the action is great! And how Zatch loses his memory and gets it back after a while, well, some of it, that just makes it interesting, you know. I agree that some of the characters could be better developed but that's up to the chreator because they can do what they want. The Japanese theme makes it even more great because it sticks to its original culture, unlike some shows, though I won't name any names. Overall, Zatch Bell is just a great show to watch if you're looking for action and adventure. Zatch Bell reminds me of an old show I use to watch but don't remember the name... Zatch Bell uses 'demons' in the Japanese version, which reminds me of this other great show were demons also fought each other, but I definatly think the "burning the book" idea is just great, something no one else could think of, brilliant! Though I don't like the referance to the "underworld" in the Japanes version, that part kind of disturbs me...
