Detective Conan Review

Overall, I like this anime -- It's definitely entertaining, but it's also inconsistent on many points. First, I like how all the main characters never age at all. They're always in high school, even after 500 freaking episodes have come by. It's easy to assume that each episode is its own day which is already unrealistic (A murder each day is rather sad.) and it would still be at least 2 years since Shinichi became little. Now, the good thing about this story is that the storyline itself is awesome. The cases also require you to think more than most other anime, and the characters such as Shinichi, Heiji, and Kaitou Kid (Though he has his own manga, he just appears in Detective Conan.) are plain awesome. In general, it also isn't cheasy at the least, too. I mean, look at all the people that died and how even some characters that get close to Conan die too. (That banker from episode 128.) So, for those that have never watched it, I would suggest that you do watch it sometime when you have free time. You either like the setup of this anime or you don't. The creators don't improvise in making it for everyone, really, and only appeals to the thinking people or the comedic or romantic anime fans. Other than that, you BARELY see any action in this anime. Ever. Actually, to be completely exact, if you do watch it, many people are thrown off over the many lot of episode numbers but if you're interested, just search the episode list of "Case Closed" on Wikipedia. Just watch the episodes that look like they have cool episode titles and you probably don't have to bore yourself watching the episodes that just bore you to death and just see the ones that are great.
