“Xandria's Review”
The sequel of the original TV series of Ah My Goddess. The story covers events after the first season ending defeat of the Lord of Terror, causing data being messed up in the main Goddess Assistance Agency computer system Yggdrasil, forgetting the wish that Keiichi has made and hence demanded the return of Belldandy. The story plot goes on as the first series, involving their expression of love towards each other with some obstacles.
We can see dilemma of Keiichi as he wondered if keeping Belldandy to himself is too selfish as she would have been of great help to other mortals and to the Goddess Assistance Agency, the jealousy of Belldandy when another female confessed to Keiichi. Another Goddess makes her appearance into Keiichi's live as he again accidentally dialed the number for another rival Goddess agency named the Earth Support Office, ending up with Peorth living with him and attempting to outdo Belldandy. Yet it is later revealed that she is actually helping both Keiichi and Belldandy to realize their feelings for each other. We can also see the history of Urd in this season as compared to seeing only a woman handing her to a man in a misty place. Urd experienced problems as the mischievous Marller split her demon and Goddess side and Urd asked the help of her mother, who is revealed to be the Great Demon Leader (Daimakaicho), Hild (Hildo). We can have a look at the powerful Daimakaicho and the spell they cast to revert her to normal was absolutely beautiful, with the song and all. This ends pretty well with a comedic confession of love by Keiichi to Belldandy.
I would say this is better than the first series in terms of plot, it is more fast paced and interesting with new characters and some minor side stories about the side character. Overall i like the sound for this series better than the previous and the plot as well. Very enjoyable squeal to the first one, although I would like to see more development on the side characters.
