Eyeshield 21 Review

Kobayakawa Sena is a little guy who always get picked on by the bullies in school. Since elementary school, he always play the role of the 'errand boy' to the extent that he has become swift and fast in his movements. Coincidentally, Hiruma Youichi and Kurita Ryukan are looking for a fast running back for their American Football team (Amefuto) and want to put Sena in the team. To hide their new 'star' player from the eyes of other High Schools, Hiruma encases Sena in a Amefuto helmet with a dark visor and name him Eyeshield #21.Well, what can i say, a wimp who turned out to be a hero, it makes sense though hehe. I just don't like the episode when he took of his eyeshield, i think it was to sudden like he didn't even had a hard time to think about it.American football has never been so much fun, thanks to Eyeshield 21. First impression of this series is that it's entertaining and fun-packed with an exotic array of characters, from the chibi yet quick-legged Sena to the devilish Hiruma to the big-sizes Kurita. Subsequent side characters are also pretty original, each with their unique personalities. The premise of the story is pretty simple: to train and enquire experience/technique pts and battle it out with opponents. Pretty simple yet really addicting. You just wanna know how they beat the rest of their competitors.
