“The Greatest Basketball Anime!!”
If you are into basketball then this is the anime that totaly suits you. I was not an anime freak before but after watching Slam Dunk, I guess I have been watching anime for a lifetime. In this anime, Hanamichi Sakuragi is the main character who never seems to find the way to approach a girl. He has been dumped 50 times and he knew that will be the end of his love life. But when he met Akagi Haruko, his life started to change where he's trying to impress Haruko even though that at that time Haruko is falling for another basketball player, Kaede Rukawa. Rukawa is famous among the girls because of his looks. He became sort of the arch-enemy of Sakuragi. For those of you who wants to know how a guy with ZERO knowledge about basketball becomes a hero for the Shohoku team, then this is the anime for you.
