Naruto Review

Naruto is the first anime series that I watched after not really watching anything in a few years. It was in year 2005 and right after I completed my Master degree courses. A friend recommended this series to me and it really was an eye opener. A door was opened to me, leading to a path full of other exciting animes. Long before that, I heard words about this anime, a story about ninjas. At that time, bah, I took the word “ninja” as something that is old-fashioned, warriors in black, users of swords and throwing stars. However, everything changed right after I watched the very first episode of it. What the hell happened to the “old” ninja outfit? Hu hu, it was a shocker!!! The ninja world has been reengineered by Masashi Kishimoto into something very very very intriguing. How colorful can it be? And their fighting skills are very special, things just popped out of nowhere. Then, I watched each and every Naruto episode until the very last of it (excluding Naruto Shippuuden which is still ongoing). I should say the story line is very good even though the otakus all over the world were complaining about the too long filler episodes. But, come on! Look at the bright side of it. The fillers were not so bad after all. Some of them are insanely funny while others kept the actions part thrilling. It is like a very calm weather before the arrival of the Great hurricane of Shippuuden. Finally, compared to the sequel, Naruto Shippuuden, Naruto has more comedy. Well, you know, naughty kids are like that!
