Death Note by narutoricecake
“Deathnote a boat! :D!”
Feast your eyes!! on DEATHNOTE!! -
Deathnote is in my top 3 best animes! Right up there with Bleach non-fillers(action, some comedy) and Gintama(comedyXcomedyXcomedyXcomedyXaction)!
Basically, it's about the handsome main character who passes righteous jugdement from the shadows! Then a battle of wits commences with the also gorgeous adolescent genius detective.
It's about this guy who finds a book that can kill people - that's all i'm saying! *wink*
Basically, you think it's going to be boring with only a book that can kill people, but there are so many realistic twists in the plot and the directing and sountrack are among the best. They put a lot of thought into every episode they've produced, and i even went on to watch deleted scenes that were on par with the anime.
Such a good story, and you have to soak it in to enjoy it. It kicks off noticeably around episode 14 or so
it has humor even though it's not listed under comedy, action - believe it or not, and i would never put it in the disgusting ranks of anything called a "drama": because that sounds like LAME SAUCE.
wikipedia lists it as "supernatural" and "psychological" - it's really good, it's like a game of chess
this is the author's debut work but it's believed to be a pen name since they did such a good job.
It's one of a kind in my opinion. I never thought something could be so cool without crap loads of hand to hand fighting or constant laugh out loud comedy.
some people think it starts off slow buut - there's no way ur not gonna like it by the time u finish the anime - i mean, NOT POSSIBLE
it's like someone watching up to ep 59 of bleach and not liking it - or someone watching up to episode 33 of gintama and not liking it
