“This anime is not perfect, but you'd still miss a great anime should you not watch it.”
In every several years, a war shall occur in Fuyuki City--The Holy Grail War. In this war, the Holy Grail itself chose 7 magicians as master, which each of them will be given the chance to summon a servant who will fight for them, and the victor shall have his or her wishes granted. Emiya Shirou had weak magical ability and was also chosen to be one of the masters; the story evolved around him as he got himself entangled in The Holy Grail War.
Strength:
- The picture was beautiful, and the fighting scenes were swift and satisfying.
- The large numbers of characters kept the story complex. Though the end was somewhat predictable, there was still many twists and turns along the story to surprise you.
Weakness:
- There was some vagueness in the story details, especially around the Holy Grail itself.
