“Outstanding Potential”
Shakugan no Shana, is a fairly new Anime. Shakugan had set itself up with very high standards but kept failing to meet them. It had a very nice cast of characters, good villains. But it met short in using those elements to the fullest. Many enemies were introduced but few were defeated in combat. this left room for a second season which they did produce.
Probably the most exciting thing about the Anime was if Shana and Yuji were going to end up together. The action was somewhat of a side-story to me.
If the writers took the time to show more action and defeating of characters I believe this could be a better anime.
