Devil May Cry Review

I went in expecting this anime to be like the game. While it has the main characters that is about all that relates to the games. The action in this series is no where near as intense as that in the game which is a real shame. Most of the time Dante fights these demons which he is able to take out with a couple of bullets and one swing of his sword. The plot advancement is horrific and clunky. Most of it makes no sense and is some of the most boring storytelling ever not that the games have a great story, but at least they are more intense. The animation is nice, but the soundtrack is highly unmemorable. Overall I was expecting something with more action and a high focus on combat. Instead we get a boring story and some of the weakest fighting scenes ever.
