"Not particularly slick but very funny to watch"

While this anime is an older one and doesn't have a lot of fancy CGI crap to it, has some plot holes and concept lines you could drive a truck through and more scantily clad wenches than you can shake a stick it, it makes up in the fact there are also some scantily clad (or not clad!) Dark Schneider shots, some hysterical one liners and some interesting insights about the characters interpersonal...

"Dungeons & Dragons, and a crazy mage named Dark Schneider "

Bastard!! is a title with a lot of potential that doesn't quite get as good as it should. It does have a wonderful, if at times distracting sense of humor (again, those spells!) and a real (dare I say it?) Bastard!! of a main character. Dark Schneider eventually comes off as the strongest personality in the show, and he's one of those guys who can cut loose and have a good time, or sacrifice...
