"Simply amongst the best if new to anime"
Samarai Champloo is simply the best anime for beginners and is also very entertaining to those who are funs of anime. Animation is well done and the sound is good. But the most interesting aspects of this anime are the characters and the stories bihind them. This anime provides excellent drama,good action and probably amongst the best in humor. "Taking Hip-Hop to another Level."
Samurai Champloo is absolutely amazing, the characters, the story more importantly THE SOUNDTRACK. The story follows Jin, Mugen, and Fuu in search of Fuus father 'the samurai who smells like sunflowers'. This anime basically follows the life of their disfunctional group. Jin and Mugen made a deal with Fuu, and enetually owe her thus they agree to help he although try on a couple of occasisons...

"If you don't take it seriously, you'll love every minute"
If you are looking for something that is historically accurate (wait, this is anime, try a book or maybe wikipedia) you are out of luck, but if you've enjoyed animes such as Fooly Cooley you'll have a blast with this one.
Take a mix of the feudal era and through in some hip hop and Mugen's rude attitude and some very weird hijinks and series titles and you have a hysterical series which stands...
